About Us

At the Johnny Alfrey Music Memorial, we aim to create a platform on which young aspiring musicians can showcase their creative skills, plan events and play alongside established bands to a wider audience. We are a non-profit organisation launched in April 2023 with a fantastic multistage event held each year to celebrate the achievements of all the young people involved. BUILD A BAND

About our build a band program

We hold multiple weekly build a band sessions with our partner Studio Duke, They provide group band workshop sessions with full time professional musicians and mentors.

About our training

We hold regular public workshops on a huge range of practical skills from singing to sound, from photography to lighting.

We have several longer term projects open to applicants who would like to gain skills and experience in the music industry
